Lena Liaci

Lena Liaci (nee Maddaloni) 87 passed away on November 9, 2012.


The Funeral Mass is at St. Lucy's Church, Newark on Wednesday at 10 AM. Entombment to follow at Hollywood Memorial Park. Arrangements are by the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union.


Born in Newark, she was a longtime Belleville resident before moving to West Orange six years ago.


Lena was loved by all of her family and friends, and will be missed dearly by all.


She was the wife of the late Jerry Liaci. Longtime companion of the late Peter Solimine. Loving mother of Vera Bell, Mary Jane Mermini and Linda DiMarco and her husband John. Beloved grandmother of Albert Mermini and his wife Cassandra, Jeri Ringel and her husband Jared, Lisa Mermini, Allan Bell and his wife Valerie, Michael Bell, David Bell and John DiMarco III.
