Lester James Cookson 45, of Flemington, died on Wednesday December 5 ^th , 2012 at home.

The funeral service will be in the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Avenue, Union, on Monday at 7:30 pm. The visitation will be on Monday from 4-8 pm. Cremation will be private.

He was born in Jersey City, and was a Longshoreman/Checker at PNCT Terminal in Port Elizabeth, N.J.

Lester was married to his wife Jennifer (nee Craig) and was the father of Christina Pride, Ashley, Emily, and Jorja Grace Cookson. He was the son of the late Margaret (nee Farrrell), and the late George Cookson, and also was  the brother of Thomas and Patrick Cookson.
