Lorinda V. Montefusco

Lorinda V. Montefusco (nee Zamanski), 72 of Maplewood passed away on December 4, 2023.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Lorinda at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Thursday December 7 from 3-7 PM. A Funeral Service will be celebrated in the funeral home at 7PM. Interment will be held privately.

Born in Elizabeth, Lorinda was a longtime resident until moving to Roselle Park, and later Maplewood for the past 12 years. She worked for Verizon in Elizabeth as a customer service representative for many years until her retirement 20 years ago. Lorinda was very creative, and loved to paint and create art. Above all, she enjoyed cooking and making delicious meals for her loving family.

Lorinda was the beloved wife of 16 years to Donald Montefusco; loving mother of Jeff Meskowsky, and cherished grandmother of Jonathan, Jeremiah and Jennifer. She was the dear sister of Jim Pevonis and the late Joe Pevonis, and is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
