Louise Calabrese

Louise Calabrese (nee Mauro) 94 of Knoxville, formerly of Newark, NJ died February 8, 2016. Louise was born in Newark lived in the Ironbound section and moved to Knoxville, Tennessee in 2006.  She was an office assistant at Macy's (formerly Bambergers) in Newark for over 30 years before retiring.

Louise was the beloved wife of the late Samuel, mother of Patricia Lemoncelli and her husband, James and the late Gerald Calabrese and his wife, Susan; daughter of the late Carmine Mauro and the late Pasquelina Mauro; grandmother of Lisa Edwards and her husband, Anthony, Kristi Davidson and her husband, Keith, Michael Calabrese and his wife, Kelley and Mark Lemoncelli and his wife, Jaime; great- grandmother to Tynan Davidson, Kendyl Calabrese, Cole Nathan, Cavan Davidson, Luke Calabrese, Chase Lemoncelli, Riley Nathan, Avery Lemoncelli and Blake Calabrese; sister of Carmine Mauro, Angela Serratelli and the late Dominick Mauro and the late Rocco Mauro;  sister- in-law of Delores Mauro, Liz Mauro and the late Joseph Serratelli and the late Joan Mauro.

Funeral from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. in Union, NJ. on Monday, February 15th at 8:30AM.

A funeral mass will be held, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Newark, NJ. at 10:30 AM.Entombment at Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum in East Hanover, NJ.
