Lucille Adams
Lucille (nee Pinnelli) Adams died on Friday Nov. 10, 2017 at home. Born in Summit, New Jersey, she lived in Roselle and resided in Union for 65 years. She graduated from Summit High School, College of Saint Elizabeth and had a Masters Degree from Seton Hall University in Personnel and Guidance.
She taught school in Union for 36 years, Science and Social Studies at Franklin School and Kawameeh Jr. High, Biology at Union High and was a Guidance Counselor at Burnet Jr. High. She was president of the Diamond Circle, a group of 15-year members of the Board of Education and president of the Biertuempfel Park Civic Association.
The funeral service will be in the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Avenue Union, N.J. on Wednesday at 12 noon. Internment at Gethsemane Gardens Mausoleum at Hollywood Memorial Park immediately thereafter.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 11 am - 12 PM
She was predeceased by her husband Martin Adams and is survived by step-sons Gregory and Gary Adams, cousins, many wonderful neighbors, friends and thousands of children who benefited from her teaching and guidance.
