Lucille J. Hess

Lucille J. Hess (nee Burdi) 80, of Union died on Friday February 24, 2012 at Manor Care Health Care Center, in Mountainside.


The funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union, on Tuesday at 8 am. Funeral Mass at St. Michael Church Union, at 9:15 am.


Interment at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union.


Visitation is on Monday from 4 - 8 pm.


Born in Irvington, she lived in Green Brook, before moving to Union 37 years ago.


Lucille was married to her husband Bernard W. Hess for 57 years, and mother of William and his wife Catherine, and Allan Hess.


She was the Sister of Rocco Burdi, and 5 late brothers and 2 late sisters, as well as the grandmother of Rachel Marie Hess.


In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Way, Memphis, Tennessee 38105 in her memory.
