Lucy C. Albanese

Lucy C. Albanese (nee Armenti), 89, of Summit,  passed away on April 7, 2015 at Overlook Hospital.

The funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave., Union, NJ on Friday at 8 am.  Funeral mass is at St. Teresa of Avila Church, Summit at 9:30am. Interment to follow at St. Teresa Cemetery, Summit. Visitation is Thursday from 4 to 8 pm.

Born in Newark, she lived in Madison before moving to Summit 60 years ago. Lucy worked at Aircast Co. in Summit, retiring 15 years ago. She volunteered for Vocationalist Fathers in Florham Park for many years.

Beloved wife of the late Francesco for 35 years; loving mother of Francesco Jr. (Lorraine), Stephen (Eileen), and Antonio (Maria); grandmother of 5;sister of Jane Sauchelli, the late Anthony Armenti, Carmela Giancola, and Nancy Kucharewski; also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers that
