Lucy DeAngelis (nee Romano), 86 of Union passed away on August 7, 2013.

The funeral service is at the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union, on Saturday at 10 AM. Entombment is at Hollywood Memorial Park. Visitation is on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.

Born in Newark, Lucy lived in Union for 48 years. She worked for Excelsior Display Co. in Union for 17 years before retiring in 1990. She was a member of the Wednesday Senior Club of Union.

Lucy was the wife of the late Edward DeAngelis. Beloved mother of Susan Heckel and her husband Norman, and Guy DeAngelis. Sister of Josephine Gentile; and the late Rose Romano, Mary DeAngelis; Canio, Vito and Leonard Romano. She is also survived by three generations of nieces and nephews.
