Lucy Nardone (nee Delli Santi) 86 of Union, passed away on Thursday December 14, 2017

at Overlook Medical Center in Summit.

The funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave nue in Union on Tuesday at 9 AM.

The funeral mass will be in St. James Church in Springfield

at 10:30 am.

Entombment will follow in Hollywood Memorial Park also in Union.

Visitation will be on Monday from 4 -8 PM.

Born in Newark she lived in Union for 29 years.

She was a cafeteria aide at Lafayette St. School in Newark for 32 years, retiring 18 years ago,

and was a member of the VFW Hennessy Post in Newark.

Lucy was married to her late Husband Richard Nardone for 49 years until he passed away in 2001.

She is the mother of Richard H. Nardone Jr. and his wife Elizabeth, Jeannine Mondaro and her husband Anthony,

and the late Anthony S. Nardone.

She was predeceased by her  parents Katherine (nee Prignano) and Donato Delli Santi,

and her 24 brothers, and sisters.

Also she was the grandmother of Melissa Hegedus,

and her husband Michael,

Vikki Rivera, and her husband Christopher,

and Theresa Rose Mondaro,

as well as the great grandmother of Isa, Gabriel, and Violet.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers that
