Madeline Molly Cicalese

Madeline  (Molly)  Cicalese (nee Knott) of Point Pleasant Beach, NJ  passed away on Sunday Sept. 27, 2020 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick, NJ.

The Funeral will be from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union, NJ on Friday at 9 am. The Funeral Mass will be in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Newark (Ironbound) on Friday at 11 AM. Entombment will follow in Hollywood Memorial Park in Union. Visitation will be on Thursday from 3 – 7 PM. For directions or to send condolences or memorials visit galantefh.com.

Born in Pennsylvania  she moved to  Newark, NJ and settled in the Ironbound Section of Newark. She married Carmen Cicalese (Cokie) and together they opened Cokie’s Tavern in the Ironbound Section, which they ran for 40 years. She then retired to Point Pleasant Beach. She was loved and respected by all who knew her.

Molly was predeceased by her husband Cokie, her siblings Sue Silva, Peter, Steve, Andy, Knott, and Charlie, Mike, Joseph, and Mamie Clinchot.

Molly is survived by her 2 sons Pat and his wife Anna Marie, and Tom. She is also survived by 4 grandsons Pat Jr. Dr. Michael and his wife Jen, Dr. Carmen and his wife Amy, and David and his wife Tina Marie Cicalese. She is also the great grandmother of Gianna, Michael, Anthony, Daniela, Chloe, Madeline, Joseph, Santino, and Domenico.
