Manouchka Glaude, 37 of Newark passed away on August 20, 2021.

Family and friends are invited to attend services for Manouchka at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Saturday September 11 from 8 - 9:30 AM. A Funeral Service will be celebrated in the funeral home at 9:30 AM. Burial will follow at Hollywood Cemetery. Manouchka "NouNou" Glaude, daughter of Marie Glaude, was born at University Hospital in Newark, NJ on April 9, 1984. Manouchka was a gift to her family, friends and to all those who loved her. One of her favorite activities was spending time with her family, and planning family activities. She also had goals of traveling the world with her children, and made that happen as often as she could. Manouchka loved to entertain her close friends for BBQs, birthday parties and holidays. That brought cheer to her and her family.

Manouchka completed several years at college and decided to go into the healthcare profession. She worked at Clara Maass Medical Center for several years and truly enjoyed her job. At work,. she was known to have a great sense of humor, a smile that lights up a room, and loved to celebrate her coworkers whenever she could.

Unfortunately, Manouchka passed away on August 20, 2021 at 37 years old, in a tragic car accident in Dominican Republic. This loss was completely unexpected and left her family and friends deeply saddened. Manouchka will be remembered for her big heart, her generosity, desire to help others, as a hard worker and life of the party.

Manouchka is survived by her children, Makayah, Nesim and Madison; her mother Marie; and by her brothers Waglee and Alix. She is also survived by her nieces, Anaya and Zianne; and was also loved dearly by Reginald, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
