Manuel Da Silva 80 of Union NJ passed away on November 18, 2020.

Father of Paul and Diana Da Silva.

Also, he is survived by his companion of many years Verna M. Valante.

Manuel was born in Braga, Portugal. He arrived in the United States over fifty years ago.

Before his arrival to the US he was a talented woodcarver in Portugal.

He brought his woodworking skills to America where he created different architectural features on buildings like the Empire State Building and Trump Tower during a restoration period on them.

Friends and relatives are invited to the visitation at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. in Union on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.

Followed by a funeral mass at Holy Cross Church in Harrison, NJ at 11AM

Entombment at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum.
