Manuel Lourenco

Manuel Lourenco, 72 of Warren New Jersey, passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Overlook Medical Center in Summit.

He was born in Branca Albergaria-A-Velha Portugal, served in the Portuguese Angolan War in 1971, and then immigrated to America in 1977. Manuel resided in Newark, New Jersey for 33 years before settling in Warren, New Jersey.

Beloved husband of 52 years of Maria Ceu Lourenco and devoted father to their 6 children, Celia Colchado and her husband Carter, Maria (Lena) McDonald and her husband Steve, Sandra Rodrigues and her husband Jack, Sergio Lourenco, Grace Michelle Cruz and her husband Luis, and John Lourenco and his wife Marta. Cherished grandfather of Sergio, Brandon, David, Katelyn, Amber, Nicky, Stephanie, Justin, Christina, Sabian, Rachel, Madison, Eric, Victoria, Jordan, and Joshua, as well as 3 great-granddaughters, Mia, Leah, and Eliana. Loving brother of Alberto, Antonio, Maria, Guida, Jose, and Albina, along with many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Manuel at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Wednesday December 29 from 4-8 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Elizabeth on Thursday at 9 AM. Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
