Manuel Torres, 82  of Waldwick, NJ passed away on June 11, 2018 at Valley Hospital in Ridgewood NJ.

Funeral from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Saturday at 9 AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael's Church, Union at 10:15 AM. Entombment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park. Visitation Friday 3-7 PM

Manuel was born in Spain and lived in Union before moving to Waldwick for 11 years. He was a Longshoreman for 25 years in Port Newark before retiring. He was a member of local 1235 in Newark for the International Longshoremans Association.

Beloved husband of the late Maria L. Torres (nee Sanchez). Father of Manuel Torres Jr. and Carlos Torres. He also leaves 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
