Marcelina R. Rana (nee Reveche) 84, of Santa Cruz Laguna  the Philippines died on Wednesday December 14, 2016 at Overlook Medical Center in Summit. The funeral mass will be on Saturday at Holy Spirit Church in Union at 9:30 am. Cremation will take place afterwards. Visitation will be on Friday at the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Avenue Union from 4 - 8pm.

Born in Santa Cruz, the Philippines, she was a lifelong resident there, and took ill while visiting family in Union. She was a school supervisor for the Department of Education in the Philippines for many years retiring in 1996. She is the former President of the daughters of Isabella,  the Past President of the Carmelite Sisters Tertiary Order, and was also a School Catechist, all in the Philippines.

Marcelina is the beloved wife of Sebastian Rana, and the loving mother of Fidel Rana, Rosalie Rana-Regaldo, and Maria Aguilucho-Ponce. She is the devoted grandmother of Maria Josefina, Joan Chiara, Maria Fe, Sebastian Fidel  (Seidel), Fidel Alexander (Xander), Jesse Louie (Jello), and Francesca, as well as the cherished great grandmother Autumn Sophia, Chiara Michaela. and Dwayne Jarred.
