Marco Cruz

Marco P. Cruz, 43 of Union passed away at home on April 17, 2021.

Funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Friday April 23 at 9 AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael's Church in Union at 10:15 AM. Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park. Visitation is on Wednesday April 21 and Thursday April 22 from 4-8 PM on both days at the funeral home.

Born in Manila, Philippines, Marco settled in Union in May of 1994. After earning his master's degree, he worked as a registered nurse in case management at Clara Maass Medical Center in Belleville for many years. Marco most treasured time spent with his loving family.

The son of Anacoreta (nee Perea) and the late Nepomuceno Cruz, Marco was the beloved husband of 20 years to Antonette (nee Apura) Cruz. He was the loving father of Anne Carlyle, Maura Christina, Catherine Joyce and John Marco. He was the dear brother of Jay, Anne and Liza Cruz, and cherished brother-in-law of Ellaine Cruz, Leslie Fernandez, Joy Apura, Hazel Apura, Sarah Cardenas, Mahmoud Hassan and Ney Carlo Apura.
