Marcy Xavier (nee Amico) 96, of Westfield, died on Thursday December 7, 2017

at Overlook Medical Center in Summit.

The funeral will be from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Avenue Union, NJ on Tuesday 8:30 am.

The funeral mass will be in St. Theresa Church in Kenilworth at 10am

Entombment will follow in Hollywood Memorial Park in Union.

Visitation will be on Monday from 4-8 PM.

Born in Newark she lived in Newark, Irvington, before moving to Westfield. She was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Senior Citizens Club in Maplewood, She was a teacher's Aide with the Irvington Board of Education before retiring to become a homemaker spending time with her grandchildren, family, and friends.

Marcy was the wife of the late Anthony Xavier, and the mother of Catherine Xavier, Mary Linda Xavier, and her husband Victor Justyn, and Michele Lefkowitz  and her husband Stephen. She is also the sister Florence Pagano, The late Concetta Vitolo, and Philip, and Anthony Amico, as well as the grandmother of  Marcie, Anthony, Michael, Laura, Jason, Dana, and the late Jenny Lynn, and 13 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers donations to the organization below, or memorial envelopes for the same will be made available at the funeral home.
