Margaret S. Furner 80, (nee Stasik) of Springfield, NJ passed away on Thursday May 25, 2017

at Overlook Medical Center in Summit, NJ

surrounded by her loving family.

The funeral will be from the Galante Funeral home 2800 Morris Avenue in Union, NJ on Wednesday at 9 AM.

The funeral mass will be in St. James Church in Springfield at 10:30 AM.

Interment will follow in Saint Teresa Cemetery in Summit, NJ.

Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.

Born in Wilkes Barre Pa. she lived  in Elizabeth, NJ before moving to Springfield 47 years ago.

She was a member and Past President of the Knights of Columbus Council # 5560 Columbiettes in Springfield, NJ.

Margaret was married to her beloved Husband Samuel D. Furner for 54 years.

She is the loving mother of William Furner and his Wife Mayela,

Joseph Furner and his Wife Patricia,

and Maria Moore and her Husband Harry.

She is also the devoted Sister of William Stasik, and Anne Wood,

as well as the cherished grandmother of Brittney and Amber.
