Margaret Soriano (nee De Vito) 95, of Belle Mead, NJ died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Monday, April 29 ^th , 2013.

The funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Avenue, Union, on Thursday at 10 am. The funeral mass is at St. Lucy Church in Newark at 10:45 am. Interment will follow in Hollywood Memorial Park, in Union.

Born in Jersey City, she lived in Newark and Union, before moving to Belle Mead 16 years ago. She was a receiving clerk for Hahne’s Department Store in Newark for 10 years, retiring 33 years ago. She was also a member  of the Union Twp. Senior Citizens Club.

Margaret was married to her late husband Thomas P. Soriano for 53 years until he passed away in 1997. She is the mother of Jean Fortunato and her husband Joseph, and the sister of the late Fannie Prudenti, Frances Ruccia, and Josephine De Georgio, as well as the grandmother of Jason, and Jonathan Fortunato.
