Margit Somogyi

Margit Somogyi (nee Mayer) entered into rest peacefully on December 23, 2015, at the age of 82.

Wife of the late George Somogyi, dear mother of Laszlo (Elizabeth) Somogyi, Zoltan Somogyi, and Renata (Charles) Butera.

Cherished grandmother of Erika and Lara Somogyi. Dearest daughter of Stephan and Eva (Korezs) Mayer,

Loving sister to late Olga Mayer, and late Ava (Otto) Sinagli .

Margit was born in Novi Sad, Yugoslavia and immigrated to the United States in

1966. She spent many years working as co-owner of Caldwell Security and recently

retired from Neptune Research in West Caldwell.

Margit always had a smile on her face and loved to be around people. Her family and

friends will always remember her as a generous and fun loving person.
