Born in Santa Cruz Do Bispo Porto, Portugal she lived in Hillside NJ for the last 15 years.

She is the wife of  the late Jose Pinto Franca, and the mother of  Manuel Diolindo, and Maria Remelgado

She is also the grandmother of Helena, Elizabeth, and Ana, as well as the great grandmother of Sergio, Felipe, and Paulo.
