Maria J. Cerdeira

Maria J. Cerdeira (nee Fernandez) 83 of Elizabeth, N.J. passed away on Thursday July 16, 2020 at The Center for Hope Hospice in Elizabeth, NJ.

The Funeral will be from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Avenue on Tuesday July 21, 2020 at 8:15 am.

The Funeral Mass  will be in St. Genevieve Church in Elizabeth at 9:30 AM

Entombment will follow in Hollywood Memorial Park in Union, N.J.

Visitation will be on Monday July 20, 2020 from 4 - 7 PM

Born in Spain she came to the United States in 1977 living in Elizabeth for 43 years.

Maria is the beloved  wife of Avelino Cerdeira

and is the loving mother of Jesus (Jay) and Jose Cerdeira

She is also the cherished grandmother of Sebastian, Jonathan,

Isabella, Daniel, Andre, and Avelino (Lino).
