Maria was born in Lima, Peru. She arrived and settled in East Newark since 1982.
She worked for the maintenance department at Columbus Hospital in Newark for 20 years before her retirement 5 years ago.
She was a member of the East Newark Senior Citizens Club.
Funeral from the Galante Funeral Home, 17 Pacific St. Newark, on Friday at 8:30 AM.
Funeral Mass at St. Anthony's Church in East Newark at 10 AM.
Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
