Maria R. Losana ( nee Tejera) 88 of Newark passed away on Wednesday     September 13, 2017 at St. Michael Medical Center in Newark.

Funeral Services are  being conducted privately  by the Galante Funeral Home in Union, N.J.

Born in Cuba,

she came to the Ironbound Section of Newark 48 years ago.

Maria was married to her late husband Vicente J. Losana for 67 years until he died in 2015.

She is the beloved mother of Rafael (Ralph) J. Losana,

Vicente F. Losana and his wife Natalie, and Elizabeth Castillo.

She is the cherished grandmother of Mandy Losana, Holly Losana, Angela Rodriguez, Jesse Castillo, Jason Castillo, Sabrina Losana, and Ricardo Losana, and the late Yamille Castillo.

She is also survived by 8 loving great grandchildren.
