Marie E. Howard (nee Tutela) 74, of Springfield, passed away on Saturday April 7, 2018

at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston.

The funeral Service will be held privately by Galante Funeral Home

2800 Morris Avenue in Union.

The private entombment will take place in St. Rose of Lima Mausoleum in Short Hills.

Born in Newark she lived in Springfield for the last 15 years.

She was a Legal Secretary for 25 years for various Attorneys in the Essex County area,

retiring 20 years ago.

Marie was married to her late husband Joseph J. Howard for 52 years until he passed away in 2010.

She is survived by her brother Albert Tutela and his wife Mary,

her nephews Michael, and Christopher Tutela,

and is the niece of Tessie Gallichio and Helen Vincelli.

She was predeceased by her parents

Albert Tutela, and Mary (nee Mamola) Tutela.
