Marie Vilus

Marie Leseize Vilus, 78, of West Orange, passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at St. Barnabas Hospital.

Funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Ave, Caldwell, NJ, on Wednesday at 8:30 am. The Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Name of Jesus Church in East Orange at 10 am. Entombment will follow at Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum. Visitation is on Tuesday from 4 to 8 pm.

Marie devoted herself to giving to others and to her family. Her church and faith meant the most to her in life.

Marie is survived by her loving sons, Lesly Jean-Francois, Lyonel Alexandre, Weisser Millien, Wen-Wyst Jeanmary and daughter Nadine Jean-Marie. She was the loving sister of Eliphete Vilus and Franck Vilus and sisters Marie-Madeleine Vilus, and the late Marie Andrena Vilus, Marie Sodane Vilus, Marie Augusta Vilus, and Marie Sultane Vilus. Marie also had the pleasure of being the grandmother of her 12 grandchildren; Lesly-Jamel, Devonia, Jennifer, Marcus, Jacqueline, Dominique, Weisser Cayman, Kaylynn, Chelsea, Nathan, Adam and Alan.
