Marie Carmelle Crepin at 54 years old of Hillside N.J. passed away at Morristown Medical Center on August 17, 2019.

Marie Carmelle’s Funeral Service will be in the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Avenue Union, NJ on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 9am.

After the memorial/funeral service, family and friends will join at Evergreen Cemetery and Crematory at 1137 N Broad St., Hillside N.J. 07205 at 11 am.

The Repass will take place at Hollywood Blue Ribbon Restaurant at 256 Hollywood Ave., Hillside, N.J. 07205 at 1pm.

Marie Carmelle was born in Haiti and came to New Jersey with her mother Anne Lamercie Regis and her siblings at a young age. She grew to become a dedicated worker, beloved wife to Louis B. Crepin and mother to her 5 children, Emanuella, Stephanie, Gregory, Janika, and Rashad. Marie took great pride in making a living for her family. Where Marie Carmelle walked, she made her presence known. Her spirit was as big as her personality. Marie was known to be a force and the backbone of her family.

If  Marie Carmelle was not at work, she was at home tending to her garden,

and finding new ideas to build her home that she worked hard to maintain. Her home was a token of her hard work and gift to her family. Marie Carmelle loved a good laugh, loved to dress up to impress for special occasions and walked to the rhythm of her own drum.

On April 26, Marie Carmelle had a traumatic stroke that would forever change the course of her journey. Over the next 3.5 months she fought to maintain her life with her family determined to see her overcome as she always did. On August 17, Marie Carmelle surrendered her fight and rested peacefully before she was called home to Christ, her savior for 54 years. She will join her father and remain a dedicated angel for her family that will miss her greatly.
