Mario S. Cadete, 78, of East Newark, passed away on October 18, 2018 at Columbus Hospital in Newark, surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral from the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave., Union, NJ is on Monday, October 22, 2018 at 12 noon. Interment to follow at Rosedale Cemetery in Linden. Visitation is prior to funeral on Monday from 10 am - 12 pm.

Born in Sao Paolo, Brazil, Mario lived in Newark. He worked as a Teamster at the New Car Carrier in Newark for many years.

Beloved husband of Carmen (Gallegos) Cadete; Loving father of Jacqueline Biancamano Cadete, Mario Cadete, Jeffrey Cadete, Derek Cadete, and Jonathan Cadete; cherished grandfather of Tarin Cadete, "Mario" Giuseppe Biancamano, Lucio Biancamano, and Derek Cadete; Brother of Maria Lourdes Silva.

Predeceased by his parents Manuel Da Silva Cadete and Sophie De Jesus, and his brothers Manuel, Joao, and Silverio Cadete.
