Mary Bacchieri

Mary Bacchieri, 99 of Caldwell passed away on November 16, 2022.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation for Mary at the Galante Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Ave. Caldwell on Friday November 18 from 9:30 - 10:30 AM. A Funeral Service will be celebrated in the funeral home at 10:30 AM, and burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Queens.

Born in New York, Mary moved to Astoria in 1957 and lived there until relocating to Caldwell in 1989. She enjoyed reading and scrapbooking, and loved doing her crosswords. Mary was a fantastic cook, and especially enjoyed a champagne toast with loved ones on holidays and on special occasions. In her final years, Mary treasured time spent wrapped in her warm red blanket, with her transistor radio pressed to her ear.

Mary was the beloved wife of the late Peter Bacchieri; loving mother of Jane Curran and her husband Tom and Robert Bacchieri and his wife Lorie; and cherished grandmother of Mollie Curran and her husband Nunzio Franzese and Justine Curran and her partner Mark Capobianco. She is also survived by her beloved friend Sam Sued.
