Mary Jane Pohero (Oshman), 73, of Union, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 5, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend a visitation for Mary Jane at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Avenue, Union on Monday, October 10 from 4 to 8 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Spirit Church in Union on Tuesday, October 11 at 10 am. Entombment to follow at Hollywood Memorial Park.

Born in Newark to her parents, the late John and Rosalie (Lawrence) Oshman, Mary Jane lived in Union for many years.

Mary Jane spent most of her career employed by NJIT for 33 years before her retirement as the Senior Executive Administrative Assistants to the President of the University. (Fondly know as MJ to her Highlander family)

Her love of travel, reading and the beach were well known, spending countless hours at Exits 58 and 63! Mary Jane was always there with a kind word, or a smile, or a listening ear for her friends and family. She will be truly missed, forever loved, and live always in our hearts!

Beloved mother of Frank Ciampi, and Nicole Ahern and her husband Shaun. Sister of Brad Oshman and his wife Debbie, Patricia Bobrowicz and her husband Frank, and the late Rosalie Gaddala. Loving MiMa to her two grandsons Aiden and Colin, who were the lights of her life. She is also the cherished aunt and great aunt to her many nieces and nephews. Dog Mom to Carly and the late Corey.
