Mary E. La Grasso

Mary E. LaGrasso (nee Bellavance) 86, of Newark, NJ died on Sunday July 9, 2017 At Waterview Center in Cedar Grove, NJ.

The funeral service will be in the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Avenue in Union, NJ on Wednesday at  10 am. The interment will follow in Bayview Cemetery 80 Hosford Avenue  in Leonardo, NJ. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 4-8 pm.

Born in the Highlands, NJ she moved to the Ironbound section of Newark 65 years ago.

Mary was the wife of the Late Angelo S. LaGrasso for 48 years until he passed away in 1996. She is the mother of Brian LaGrasso and his wife Alice, and is the daughter of the late Joseph Bellavance and the late  Lillian (nee Card) Bellavance. She is also  the sister of Joseph Bellavance, the late William McGowan, Lillian Corrigan, and Joan Harrison, as well as  the grandmother of Amy and Carla.
