Mary Pocius

Mary R. Pocius (nee Bunevitch), 92 of Union passed away at home on November 13, 2014.

Funeral service will be held at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Tuesday at 10 AM. Interment will follow at Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth. Visitation will be on Monday from 4-8 PM.

Born in Scranton, PA, Mary lived in Irvington and Newark before moving to Union 52 years ago. She worked at PSE&G in Newark in their cafeteria, and later she was a waitress at Stanley's Restaurant in Springfield for many years. Mary was active in Senior Citizens Associations, and absolutely loved living life and travelling.

Mary was the beloved wife of 59 years to the late Anthony Pocius. Loving mother of Cynthia Tarney, Lisa Msarsa, Jerome Pocius, and the late Anthony, Jr. She is survived by her grandchildren Christopher, Jonathan, Lana, Katie and Matthew; and by her great-grandchildren Isabella and Elizabeth.
