Mary Rispoli (nee DeLuca), 106 of Newark passed away on April 22, 2013.

Funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home, 17 Pacific St. Newark on Friday at 9 AM. Funeral mass is at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Newark at 10:30 AM. Interment is at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Visitation is on Thursday from 4-8 PM.

Born in Newark, Mary was a lifelong resident of the Ironbound. She was a seamstress, a postal worker during Christmas time at Main Post Office, and a cafeteria worker in high schools throughout Newark. She also worked in her family’s restaurants in Seaside Heights and Long Branch; as well as a home maker, primarily having passion serving her family.

Mary was the wife of the late Thomas Rispoli. Beloved mother of Thomas Rispoli and his wife Romilda, Anthony Rispoli and his wife Iris, Isabelle Alfano, and the late Nicholas and Alphonse Rispoli. Mother-in-law of Beatrice Rispoli, and loving aunt of Vincent Esposito. Sister of the late Louis and Pasquale DeLuca; Carmela Liquori and  Katherine Parlavecchio. Loving grandmother of Maria, Joanne, Alesia, Phyllis, Janine, Thomas Jr., Gina, Anthony Jr. and Michael. Great-grandmother of Jenna, Sonny, Thomas, Joseph, Lindsay, Amanda, Andrew, Gianna, Matthew, Luca and Sam. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.  Also survived by a dear family friend Alana Browning.
