Mary Sico

Mary Frances Sico, 94 of Union passed away at Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains on April 18, 2017.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Michael Church, 40 Alden St. Cranford on Monday at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington. Visitation is on Sunday from 1-5 PM at the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union.

Born in Newark, Mary grew up in the Ironbound section before moving to Clifton for ten years. She then relocated to Totowa in 1973 before moving to Verona. Mary was a Union resident for the past 25 years. She and her husband owned and operated Swank Men's Shop on Bloomfield Avenue in Newark for many years. After retiring, they enjoyed traveling and spending time in Florida.

Mary was the beloved wife of the late Sam Sico; and loving mother of Rick Sico and his wife Janis, and the late Anthony Sico. She was also the sister of the late Frances Trignano
