Mary Lynn Ventola

Mary Lynn Ventola (nee Florio), 73, of West Caldwell, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Mountainside Hospital in Glenridge.

The funeral will be from the Galante Funeral Home, 54 Roseland Avenue, Caldwell on Friday at 8 am. The Funeral Mass will be at St. Aloysius Church in Caldwell at 9 am. Interment to follow at St. Raymond's Cemetery in Bronx, NY. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4 to 8 pm.

Mary was born in Bronx, NY and lived in West Caldwell since 1971. She was a 1963 graduate of St. Mary's Hospital School of Nursing in Hoboken and then worked at Jacoby Hospital and Albert Einstein Hospital both in the Bronx.

Mary was a Past President of Mothers of Multiples of Essex County and Past President of HSA at Lincoln School in Caldwell, as well as a library assistant at West Caldwell Library. She was very devoted and involved at St. Aloysius Church and served as a Eucharistic Minister and recently appointed as a Domenican Associate, which she was very proud of.

Her greatest joy in life was being a mother and homemaker!

Beloved mother of Rick Ventola and his wife Melanie, and Missy Haas and husband James; sister of Bill Florio and his wife Irene, Donna Conroy and her husband John, and the late Linda Vecchio; loving grandmother of Brendan, Sean, Chloe, and Carly.
