Mary Ventre  (nee Giordano) 89, of Union  died  on Tuesday April, 14, 2015.

The funeral will be from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union  on Friday at 9 am. The funeral mass will be in St. Michael Church in Union at 10:15 am. Entombment will follow in Hollywood Memorial Park in Union. Visitation will be on Thursday from 3-7 pm.

Born in Newark, Mary lived in Union for 38 years. She was a clerk for the Compensation Rating and Inspection Bureau in Newark for 15 years, retiring 30 years ago. She was also a member of the Twp. of Union Senior Citizens Monday and Friday clubs.

Mary was married to her husband Joseph P. Ventre  for 67 years. She is the sister of Jennie Fischer, Adele Sartin, the late Carol Ragona, Teresa Giordano, Rose Focceli,  Joseph and Carmen Giordano. She also was the aunt of many nieces and nephews.
