Mary Louise Sciancalepore (nee Parisi) 60 of Cranford passed away on Saturday December 21st, 2013 at Overlook Medical Center in Summit

The funeral is from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. Union on Tuesday at 8:30 am. The funeral Mass will be in St. Michael Church in Cranford at 10:00 am. Interment will follow in Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth. Visitation will be on Monday from 3-7 pm.

Born in Newark she lived in Union before moving to Cranford 40 years ago. She graduated from Union Catholic High School in 1971, and attended Union County College. She was a kidney transplant recipient from her sister Angelina Muscolino. She fought a long hard fight with kidney disease and showed us all how to fight and perservere. She was a member of the Suburban Mother of Twins.

Mary Lou was married to her late husband Sergio Sciancalepore  until he passed away in 2002. She is the mother of Diana Murray and her husband Ryan, Sergio, and Crista Sciancalepore. She is also the sister of Angelina Muscolino, and her husband Robert, Matthew Parisi and his wife Linda, as well as the sister-in-law of Michael and his wife Maria Sciancalepore  and  Saverio Sciancalepore.
