Michael R. Waters

Michael  R. Waters 76 also known by family and friends  as "Mickey" passed away peacefully at home on October 22, 2023.

He is survived by his wife Rose of 56 years, his daughter Regina, sons Michael and his wife Toni Ann Steven and his wife Melissa.

He leaves behind 7 grandchildren;  Aimon, Jude, Evie, Dakota, Phoebe, Tristin (TJ) and Abigal.

Mike is predeceased by his parents Thomas and Regina Waters also his brother Tom Waters.

 Mike also leaves behind a huge  amount of family and friends.

He was a life member of the Springfield / Hillside Elks 2004, Hillside Knights of Columbus 3197, Loyal Order Of the Moose 399 in Ortley Beach NJ.

Born and raised in Newark NJ. He Lived in Hillside NJ for the past 56 years.

Mike owned and operated Mike Waters Scrap Iron and Boiler Removal business for over 50 years.

He loved being with family and friends, enjoyed crabbing in Ortley Beach, playing " Let It Ride" at the casino and going to Bingo.

Mike was a loving husband and father and will be missed by all who knew him.

A Memorial visitation will be at the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave in Union on Sunday October 29,  from 12pm - 3pm.
