Michael G. Geron

Michael G. Geron, 76 of Green Brook died on Friday August 3rd, 2012 at Somerset Medical Center.


A memorial mass will be offered on Saturday August 18, 2012 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 300 Central Avenue in Mountainside at 11 AM. Repast luncheon will follow at L’Affaire Fine Catering, 1099 Route 22, Mountainside at 1 PM. Arrangements are by Galante Funeral Home Union, N.J.


Born in Jersey City he lived in Brooklyn, and Union, before moving to Green Brook 10 years ago. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the US Air Force. He was President of the Larchmont Civic Association and a member of Union Chapter of UNICO National, The BPOE Lodge # 1583 of the Union Elks, and The Columbia Civic and Social Club, all of Union.


Mike was married to his wife Lee R. (nee Ferraiolo) for 53 years, and was the father of Michael, Lee Dominic, and James Geron and his wife Elizabeth. He was also the brother of Philip Geron, and Anna Marie Orrico, and the brother-in-law of Russell Orrico. He was the loving grandfather of Alana, Gabriella, Jessica, Victoria, James, Michael, Matthew, and Natalia.


In lieu of flowers the family prefers that you make memorials to the charity of your choice in his memory.
