Nancy Morgan Reese Minor, a longtime resident of Upper Montclair and The Dunes , NJ, passed away on February 26. She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, F. Malcolm Minor, in 2014.
Nancy Minor was born in Bloomfield, NJ, on July 29, 1936. She graduated from Bloomfield High School in 1954. She volunteered at Mountainside Hospital as a Candy Striper during her high school years. After high school she worked briefly for NJ Bell Telephone Company.
Nancy and Malcolm Minor were married at the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church in New York City on September 12, 1954. Nancy was a patron of PAWS and was a lifelong advocate for the humane treatment of animals.
