Natalya Kanumilli

With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Natalya, a beloved wife, mother, and friend, who left us on February 23, 2025, at the age of 43.

Natalya was a devoted mother to her two children, whom she loved fiercely, and a cherished wife to Kumar, who always knew her love was one of a kind. She was a woman of strength and compassion, always putting her family first—whether it was facing a health crisis for her daughter or standing by her husband through career challenges.

Born with an independent spirit, Natalya lived life on her own terms, undeterred by others' judgments. She earned a degree in Food Technology from Kaliningrad, Russia, and carried her intellect and determination into every aspect of her life.

Natalya battled through many challenges, including her own struggles with depression and addiction. But she faced them with resilience, never allowing them to define her. Instead, she used her experiences to support and uplift others, always ready to offer a helping hand to those who were struggling. Her husband often told her she was meant to be in healthcare, as she had a natural gift for comforting the sick and guiding others through their own battles.

Beyond her boundless compassion, Natalya found joy in the simple things—embroidery, watching Family Feud and Friends, immersing herself in old Russian movies, and listening to Vladimir Vysotsky, Alexander Serov, and Scorpions.

Her love, strength, and kindness will forever live on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know her. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit remains a guiding light for all who loved her.

Service Details

Family and friends are invited to a visitation for Natalya on Thursday, February 27th, from 4:00-8:00 PM at Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave in Union.

Her burial will take place on Friday, February 28th, at 9:30 AM at Hollywood Cemetery, 1621 Stuyvesant Ave in Union.

She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
