Neiva Maria Ferreira

Neiva Maria Ferreira, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2024.

 Born on December 15, 1957, in Brazil, Neiva's spirit was woven with the vibrant threads of care and compassion that she generously shared with all who crossed her path.

Neiva dedicated her life to serving others, both in her profession and personal life. Her nurturing nature was evident in the simple yet profound joys she found in cooking and caring for those around her. For Neiva, these acts were not mere tasks but expressions of love that filled her home with warmth and connection. She also treasured the tranquility found in nature and loved to embark on walks, soaking in the beauty of her surroundings and reflecting on life's many blessings.

She is survived by her devoted partner, Custodio Do Lago. Neiva's legacy will also be honored by her daughter, Flavia Coetzee, and her son-in-law, Max. Loving grandchild, Lianna Coetzee. Her dear sisters: Neusa, Neide, Heidi, Luiza, and Cleusa. Her brother-in-law, Manoel, and her niece, Paula Do Lago, along with her great-nieces, Stella and Victoria, and many in-laws. Her departure leaves a void that will be felt deeply by her family.

Family and friends are invited to gather for the visitation of Neiva at Galante Funeral Home, located at 2800 Morris Ave., Union, NJ, on November 30, 2024 from 8:00- 10:00 AM, followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 AM, allowing all who loved her the opportunity to pay their respects and honor a life well-lived. Interment will follow at Restland Memorial Park in East Hanover.

In the loving embrace of her family and friends, Neiva Maria Ferreira is richly remembered as a caring soul, a source of positivity, and a guiding light whose legacy will reverberate through the generations that follow.
