Nestor Canlas Pangilinan March 30, 1958 - September 10, 2021

Nestor Canlas Pangilinan, 63, of Union, NJ, passed away unexpectedly on September 10, 2021 while on a trip to North Carolina.

Nestor was born in San Fernando, Pampanga, Philippines on March 30, 1958 to Vedasto Pangilinan and Consolacion Canlas. He was the beloved husband of Marife Pangilinan, the loving father of Kevin, Kathleen, and Kendall Pangilinan, and a cherishing step-father to Michico Matsumoto. Nestor had established his career as a stationary engineer 20 years ago and worked for Mountainside Hospital for over 10 years.

Nestor was a devoted father and a hard-working problem-solver that took care of almost all house projects and took on as many work shifts as needed without hesitation to provide for his family. Those that knew Nestor know how much love and kindness he had for those around him. Above all, he was a man that never gave up no matter how difficult life got. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, brothers and sisters, cousins, aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and all who knew him.
