Nicanor was born in Ciego de Avila, Cuba. He lived in Spain before arriving and settling in the Ironbound section of Newark in 1962.

He was a longshoreman in Port Newark for 25 years before retiring.

Funeral Mass at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church at 9:30AM

Entombment at Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum.

Visitation Sunday from 1 to 5 PM.
