Nicholas Contardo Jr. 60, Passed away on August 19, 2013 of Springfield.

Visitation will be at the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave on Wednesday from 10AM to 12pm and a service will be held at 12 noon. Cremation private.

Husband of Maria (nee Albano)

Father of Caroline Contardo, Nicholas III and his wife Cristina.

Son of the late Nicholas and Helen Contardo Sr.

Survived by two brothers and his loving relatives Carolyn, Jose, Anthony, Joseph, Elizabeth Rodriguez. Nicholas was the son in law of Anthony and his wife the late Connie Albano.

Nicholas was born in Newark and lived in Springfield for many years.

He worked for Merrill Lynch as a System Analyst in Jersey City before retiring.
