Norma G. Parlavecchio
A Life Well Lived
We deeply regret to announce the passing of our mother
Norma Parlavecchio, (nee Patrone).
Norma is survived by her daughter Lauren Gennero, her son Victor Ristoppia
and her step daughter Kate Parlavecchio who she loved dearly.
Preceded by her sister Mary (deceased) and survived by her brother Neal,
Norma was born in 1931 the third child of Julia Sturchio and Ralph Patrone.
They lived in East Orange NJ and Norma later settled in Florham Park NJ.
Notably, she worked at Hensler's Brewery in Newark
and National Union Insurance Company in East Orange.
Norma was a wonderfully vibrant woman with a huge personality
who loved life, people and animals.
She was an excellent cook, baker and also enjoyed dancing and traveling.
She lived her life with the highest sense of morality, respect
and the willingness to do the right thing.
There is so much more to her than we could ever hope to express,
the lives she touched, the love she gave and the family and friendships she treasured.
She will be dearly missed, until we meet again, we love you mom.
We would like to thank the family and friends that supported us through this difficult time,
it was needed and is greatly appreciated.
In lieu of flowers the family prefers that
