Norma Jean  Russo, born and raised in the  Vailsburg  section of Newark, passed away  on Wednesday January 18, 2017 at

The Center for Hope Hospice 1900 Raritan Road Scotch Plains, NJ.

The funeral will be from the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Avenue Union, NJ

on Monday January 23, 2017 at 10 AM.

The funeral mass will be in St. Michael Church 1212 Kelly Street corner of Vauxhall Road in Union

at 10:15 AM.

Interment will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery in East Hanover, NJ.

Visitation will be on Monday from 9 - 10 AM.

She was a licensed insurance agent with the State Farm Insurance Co. in Roselle Park, for many years.

She was predeceased by her father the late Frank Russo, and

is survived by her loving mother

Theodora Russo (nee Lampariello),

her brother Peter R. Russo, dear Aunt Louise Lampariello,

and many cousins.

She also leaves her devoted companion of 30 years Jeffrey Latawiec, and her Best Friend Suzanne Giampino,

as well as many other loving friends.

She will be greatly missed by her devoted pets Nikki, and Shadow.

She was well  known to be a gourmet cook, and baker, and a

devout New York Yankees Fan.
