Norman A. Foschia, 84, of Little River, SC passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 10, 2019.

Born in Jersey City, NJ  May 29, 1935, Norman grew up in Baltimore, MD and lived in South Carolina for the past 23 years. He was a proud graduate of the University of Miami. Norman was a fan of the opera, (his mother was an accomplished soprano) playing guitar, and walking the beach. He loved to tell stories of his childhood, hunting and fishing with his brother John. A lifelong business man, in retirement he was elected President of the Eastport Golf Association and the Moorings Condominium Association. Norman enjoyed sitting by the intracoastal sipping a glass of wine, and watching the boats cruise by from his balcony. He also loved joining friends at the Myrtle Beach Dog Park.

Norman will also be remembered for his ability to make his friends laugh. He made friends wherever he went, and even had medical staff laughing throughout his final days.

Norman was predeceased by Linda and his parents Pia and John, and by his brother John Foschia. He was the father of Norma Bowe, her husband Norman Travis and Jim Foschia and his wife Elise. He was the cherished Poppy of Melissa Bowe and Rebecca Bowe; and great-grandfather to Avery Bowe-Marowitz.. He was uncle to Mary Beth Townley and her husband Steve, and Johnny Foschia and his wife Maxine Curless, He is also survived by his great companion, Maltese terrier Miss Lilly.

Norman was one of a kind. He will be missed by many.

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life and memorial dinner at the Grenville Historic Inn, 345 Main Ave. Bay Head, NJ 08742 on Saturday November 23, 2019 at 4 PM. Arrangements are entrusted to the Galante Funeral Home, 2800 Morris Ave. Union.
