Odete was born in Brazil and arrived in Newark in 2000, before moving to Springfield.

She was loved by all, and had an irresistible smile and a heart of gold.

Visitation on Thursday from 10 AM - 12 Noon at the Galante Funeral Home 2800 Morris Ave. in Union.

Cremation is private.
