Olga Worsky

Olga Worsky, 94, of Springfield, New Jersey died on January 6, 2017. Warm, friendly, caring and generous, Olga was a talented artist, designing and making her own needlepoints, knitting intricate sweaters, crocheting elaborate beautiful afghans, yarmulkes, baby hats, baby outfits and other beautiful artwork. Olga was born in Newark, New Jersey on June 12, 1922, where she resided for many years as owner of Kate’s Tavern on Pacific Street. She later moved to Millburn and then to Springfield. While living in Millburn, she was an active member in Friday Friends, the Seniors Group and volunteering for the Red Cross, where she would donate the baby outfits and afghans she created.

Olga is survived, loved and remembered by her daughter Sandy Bromberg and son-in-law Dr. Charles Bromberg, also of Springfield, son Alan of Troy, Va.; five grandchildren, Ron and Patty Bromberg; Brian and Heather Bromberg; Jodi and Courtney Dunne-Bromberg; Jamie Worsky and John Robert Worsky; 15 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
